Diversity of Polymers

At Eagley Plastics, we pride ourselves on the versatility of our polymer processing capabilities. From rigid, flexible and cellular PVC used in construction and building products, to specialist compounds for window systems and technical profiles, our breadth of materials supports a wide range of industries and performance requirements.

Whether it’s impact resistance, thermal stability or weatherability, we select and process the right grade to match the demands of each application with consistency and care.

Our expertise goes well beyond PVC. We routinely process a wide selection of engineering and commodity thermoplastics, including ABS, polycarbonate, HIPS, SAN, PC/ABS blends, Noryl (PPE & PS blend) and a range of elastomers such as TPR, TPE and EVA. Our portfolio also includes polyolefins such as HDPE, MDPE, LDPE and polypropylene in both homopolymer and copolymer forms.

Our Polymers
With the ability to handle both extrusion and injection moulding, and the infrastructure to support moisture-sensitive polymers, we provide reliable, high-performance solutions for technical components, complex co-extrusions and multilayer profiles.
PVC
We convert PVC using both extrusion and injection moulding, processing rigid and flexible grades to suit end-use requirements. Through extrusion, we manufacture profiles, pipes, conduits and sheets with consistent wall thickness and dimensional accuracy. Our injection moulding facilities enable the production of complex PVC components with tight tolerances, using controlled temperature and screw design to ensure material stability, surface finish and long-term performance. We convert PVC using both extrusion and injection moulding, processing rigid and flexible grades to suit end-use requirements. Polyolefins
Our extrusion and injection moulding capabilities allow efficient processing of polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Using extrusion, we produce films, sheets, pipes and profiles with excellent chemical resistance and durability. Injection moulding enables high-volume production of lightweight, impact-resistant parts, with optimised cycle times and material flow to achieve consistent quality and cost efficiency. Our extrusion and injection moulding capabilities allow efficient processing of polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene. PPE-PS Blends (Noryl)
We process PPE-PS blends (commonly known as Noryl) primarily through injection moulding, taking advantage of their dimensional stability, heat resistance and electrical properties. Our facilities are equipped to manage the precise temperature control these blends require, ensuring low warpage and excellent surface finish. Where required, extrusion can be used for specialised profiles or sheets that benefit from the material’s strength and low moisture absorption.
ABS & ASA
ABS and ASA are converted using both extrusion and injection moulding to produce robust, aesthetically finished components. Injection moulding is ideal for detailed, impact-resistant parts such as housings and enclosures, while extrusion is used for sheets and profiles requiring consistent mechanical properties. ASA grades are processed with additional control to maintain UV stability and colour retention for outdoor applications.
Recycled Polymers
Our extrusion and injection moulding facilities are well suited to processing recycled polymers, with systems in place to manage variations in melt flow and material consistency. Through extrusion, recycled materials are converted into sheets, profiles and pellets, while injection moulding enables the production of functional components with reliable performance. We apply careful filtration, blending and process optimisation to maximise quality and sustainability.
Hydrophillic
We convert hydrophilic polymers using controlled extrusion and injection moulding processes to maintain their moisture-responsive properties. Extrusion is used to produce films, sheets or profiles where uniform absorption behaviour is required, while injection moulding allows the manufacture of precision components for specialist applications. Careful handling, drying and temperature control ensure consistent performance and material integrity.
Nylon
Our facilities process nylon through both extrusion and injection moulding, delivering components with high strength, wear resistance and thermal stability. Extrusion is used for rods, tubes and profiles, while injection moulding produces complex, high-precision parts. Moisture management and precise processing conditions are applied throughout to ensure optimal mechanical performance and dimensional accuracy.
